Not all VR headsets will require a computer. The Google Cardboard or Samsung Gear VR will work directly with your smartphone. It is recommended, however, that you download the video files to your device whenever possible. This will ensure that you never run into buffering or stuttering issues.

Please note that the VR files are very large. It’s best to download them over a Wi-Fi connection and not over data.

Headsets, such as the Oculus Go will have to connect to a computer. Below are the system requirements recommended for virtual reality playback:

• CPU Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
• Memory 8GB+ RAM
• Video Output Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output
• USB Ports 3x USB 3.0 ports plus 1x USB 2.0 port
• OS Windows 7 SPI 64 bit or newer
