Formats 
Most new smartphones have the capability to play videos up to 1920p resolution. Some premium phones may also play videos up 2300p. Most phones are also able to play VR videos, although older phones may require lower resolutions.
It’s best to test your streaming capabilities in the Playa VR player app. Files can then be downloaded and transferred to your device. Any video files from the GearVR section should work on your smartphone.

Streaming
Many third party streaming apps exist, but none can be recommended. Reliability simply can’t be guaranteed. From streaming playback, it’s recommended that you use our web player.
