Recommended steps for streaming

The provided web player is the best and easiest way to stream movies on any of our sites. No additional apps are required. Please note that third party players cannot be guaranteed to work.

  • On a desktop or mobile device, simply click on the play button to start your video in 2D mode. Mobile devices will utilize the “magic window” to let you look around the scene.
  • While in desktop view, it’s possible to use your mouse to look around the scene. Simply click on the video and drag to change your view. Mobile devices also support swiping to move the scene.
  • To use a cardboard like device, simply click on the cardboard icon at the bottom of the video player.
  • If using a browser inside an already existing VR environment, simply click on the play button. The video will automatically play in VR.
  • The player will automatically detect the best resolution for your internet speed and video card.
  • Most headsets are already compatible with the provided web player.
  • When streaming with Littlestar, please find the RSS link in the PSVR section of the downloads tab.

Some VPN services will interfere with the streaming quality of the site. If any issues occur, simply disable your VPN and restart your video stream.

Common fixes

  • Close any background apps that may be running while you attempt to stream your video.
  • Restart your device and follow the streaming instructions above.
  • Restart your browser and follow the streaming instructions above.
  • Restart your modem and router and follow the streaming instructions above.
  • Update your device to ensure that you have the latest version and drivers.

Check your internet speed

Your internet speed will also have a major effect on your streaming capabilities. You can check your download speeds for free at testmyspeed.com. Please see the table below for the recommended speeds associated with the available video resolutions:
